Abstract
The article presents the latest results and details of modeling the Tibetan verbs in the formal grammar and computer ontology. It describes the partially automated model which constructs semantic classes for verbs based on their syntactic and semantic valencies using an ontological editor and following the corpus data. The resulting model not only plays a necessary role in automatic syntactic and semantic disambiguation of Tibetan texts, but also offers a deeper analysis into the Tibetan verbal semantics and pragmatics. The research covers a wide range of problems on modeling the Tibetan verbal system, such as modeling of auxiliary verbs and copulas, verb compounds, verbs with special case government and other.
