Abstract
One of the most important factors affecting on the machining accuracy of a machine tool is the spindle center stability. The heat generated in the bearings of the machine tool spindle unit is one of the causes that directly affects the stability of the spindle center, it should be studied and found a suitable cooling method for the spindle bearings to ensure that the temperature is always within the allowable range and the working conditions of the machine. This manuscript presents a simulation and experimental study of heat at the spindle bearings of a mini-CNC milling machine when lubricated with grease, the spindle operates at a maximum speed of 7000 rpm. Thereby, it is possible to provide suitable lubrication and cooling measures to ensure the stability of the spindle center and contribute to ensuring the quality of the work-parts machined on the machine.
