The school should aim to educate people competent in oral communication, including linguistic, sociolinguistic and pragmatic knowledge of the language. Therefore, this research offers an analysis of how the language books of the EKI project develop the oral expression in primary education. In addition, an analysis was made on whether activities are proposed to facilitate the transfer of knowledge related to oral communication between languages. The results show that the teaching materials developed by the EKI project offer different types of activities to work on oral expression in the three languages. However, in the field of orality, there is not enough coordination between the three languages to promote knowledge transfer.
