摘要

•A few RSV-positive patients were diagnosed between January and March 2021 in a French hospital, in line with the seasonal shift in RSV incidence this year.•Prolonged RSV shedding was observed in both symptomatic and asymptomatic patients.•Temporal shift in the RSV epidemic in 2020/2021 is not likely to be explained by unreported variants.
