Barriers and facilitators to technology-enhanced measurement based care for depression among Canadian clinicians and patients: Results of an online survey

•Most clinicians agreed that measurement-based care (MBC) for depression is important but only 39.8% use MBC routinely.•Most of the clinicians said they would be more likely to use MBC if it was automated and available to use electronically.•Most patients felt MBC would be helpful for their treatment and were willing to use a mobile app to track their depressive symptoms.
