Abstract
Laser-arc hybrid welding of AZ31B magnesium alloy was carried out employing carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and beam oscillation. The beam oscillation was beneficial to inhibit the easily occurred agglomeration of CNTs by stirring the molten pool, and thus improve the weld plasticity due to grain refinement effect of the dispersed CNTs.
