摘要

•The CHF of a vertical annulus channel with a short heated rod at low pressure and low flow conditions was experimentally studied.•The effects ofmass flow rate,inlet temperatureand pressure on the CHF were explored.•The flow regime of the CHF were investigated.•Proper correlation is selected and revised for the critical heat flux prediction for annular channels.
