Abstract
•A synergistic modification strategy was applied on the design and preparation of Ni-rich layered cathodes.•Interfacial parasitic reaction and phase change of the CAM were suppressed even under elevated temperature.•The CAM shows enhanced Li+ diffusion coefficient, high-voltage/temperature endurability and thermal stability.
