Abstract
The goal of the study was to analyze the use of TB-drugs and other groups of drugs for tuberculosis treatment based on local real-world data. The methodology included processing of the data on the provision and use of drugs in TB-hospital, development of a model, and subsequent modeling of the changes in the drug supply. The cost of drug supply per year is at least 99,000,000 rubles for 302 hospital beds. There is an annual trend towards an increase in drug costs. In the cost structure up to 60% is accounted for by TB-drugs and antibiotic used in the treatment of MDR-TB. The most resource-intensive therapy regimen included linezolid, tiresidone, and carbapenems. Up to 6 million rubles per year is accounted for by drugs used in the treatment of adverse and toxic reactions of TB-drugs. The developed model of TB-hospital drug supply based on the analysis of procurement and cost structure allows to assess the consequences of changes in the list of acquired TB-drugs, the cost of treatment schemes, and the economic consequences of schemes distribution. Clinical and economic modeling based on epidemiological data is a tool in predicting the costs of drug provision and assessing the consequences of changes in the formulary list of a medical institution, which allows to identify the most resource-saving approaches for clinical practice.
