摘要
•There are two types of LAS on the Pd/WZ surface with different origin.•H2-reduction of Pd/WZ above 300 °C forms of additional LAS, which include W5+ atoms.•Pd additions into catalysts enhance their acidity by forming new Lewis acid sites.•This type of LAS is responsible for high selectivity of heptane isomerization.
