Finding Kinship in the Women in Radio Science Chapter [Women in Engineering]

This article introduces the Women in Radio Science (WIRS) Chapter of the U.S. National Committee (USNC) of the International Union of Radio Science (URSI). The unique challenges of minority groups in the radio science community are discussed. The value and impact of diversifying the scientific workplace are argued, and the promise of a women-led radio science community is presented.
