An Analytical Fault Diagnosis Method: Component Relation and Event Relationship Description Matrices

There are large amounts of status, switch, and protection information in ac transmission and distribution networks. Due to the complex relationship of information and high overlap of recognition logic, it is difficult to find the exact homeomorphic mapping between a fault and information. This article proposes an analytical fault diagnosis method by the use of a matrixed relationship description and operation to build a certain mapping between the fault and certain related information.
