Abstract
An efficient method for the phosphine-catalyzed bisaddition of P(O)H compounds and cyclic imides to divinyl sulfone has been developed. The reaction proceeds under mild conditions and leads to the formation of the corresponding target products in high yield. The mono- and bisphosphonium salts have been obtained in high yield on the basis of divinyl sulfone.
