摘要

•A precise irrigation map for China in 2015 was generated on GEE platform.•Nationwide samples were automatically generated by a synergic method.•This map outperformed existing irrigation maps with overall accuracy of 0.79.•North China Plain and Northeast China are most intensive irrigated areas in China.
