Anti-fouling materials decorated immunoprobe and electrochemical sensing interface to improve immunoassay

In order to realize the target analyte measurement in actual samples, designing anti-fouling immunosensors had turned into a notable topic in the immunosensing domain. When constructing anti-fouling immunosensor, the non-labeled anti-fouling immunosensors were more popular, while its low sensitivity seemed to be ignored. In addition, the immunoprobes were always considered not to adsorb with other immunoprobes and had no ne-cessity to be made anti-fouling treats. The malignant impacts of adsorption and agglutination caused by the hydrophobicity decoration of immunoprobes were generally ignored. In order to solve the problems mentioned above (the low sensitivity of anti-fouling immunosensor, the adsorption and agglutination of immunoprobes), a hydrophilic immunoprobe was synthesized, subsequently, the synthesized hydrophilic immunoprobe was applied to construct a labeled anti-fouling immunosensor. Compared with immunoprobes decorated with hy-drophobic molecules, the constructed anti-fouling immunoprobe exhibited a better hydrophilicity and dispersity in aqueous phase. The immunosensor had a sensitivity comparable to that of general labeled immunosensors, and had an excellent consistency with electrochemiluminescence. This work will provide an enlightening path on designing anti-fouling electrochemical immunosensors.
