Authentication of craft and industrial beers by excitation-emission matrix fluorescence spectroscopy and chemometrics

•Four-way fluorescence data coupled with chemometrics is used for the authentication of craft and industrial beer.•Four-way data array were constructed for classification.•ATLD and AQLD were used for spectral characterization.•Correct classification rates of PLS-DA based on four-way data array are all above 88.9%.
