Abstract
SUSD2 is a type I membrane protein that plays a crucial role in cell-cell and cell-matrix adhesion. It has been reported to have a role in the lung adenocarcinoma (LA) microenvironment as surface proteins on the mast cells. To further understand the putative role of SUSD2 protein expression in LA progression and its association with tumor histophenotype, we performed a retrospective cross-sectional analysis looking at SUSD2 immunohistochemical (IHC) staining.
