摘要
This chapter presents the Covid-Game, a serious game developed out of the difficulties that various societies, specifically the Brazilian, have faced with the advent of the current COVID-19 pandemic. Such difficulties are not restricted to health or economic issues but unfold into problems such as the dissemination of untrue information about the virus, the disease, the ways of prevention, and the treatments available to the population, including immunization through vaccines. Using techniques already consolidated in the state of art of serious games and gamification, this proposal innovates by aiming to disseminate correct information about COVID-19 playfully and considering the players' age, regional, and cultural aspects. This chapter demonstrates its viability, versatility, and convenience in these times of dissemination of countless false information that endangers human life itself.
