Abstract
Interference in communication cable is an important problem faced in radio frequency spectrum. For upcoming years, the interference problem will increase exponentially with the technology advancements in wireless communication. Electromagnetic (EM) waves with increased magnitudes and frequencies will be used in communication systems. Further, there are other research in the area of power transfer capability of EM waves such as wireless charging applications. Hence, it has become important to study and manufacture material products overcoming the issues concerning EM interference (EMI) for wired communication. A carbon nano fibre (CNF) shielded cable is compared with annealed tinned copper (ATC) shielded cable for superior performance of CNF and for the same, braiding is done in an industry for commercial application.
