摘要

•GeSbNa:B2O3 novel glass system is developed by the conventional melt quenching method.•DTA reveals as-synthesized glasses retain good thermal stability and mechanical strength.•FTIR and Raman spectra confirm the decrease of GeO4 and GeO6 units with the addition of B2O3.
