Analysis of the possibilities for using computer vision and spectral analysis to assess the wheat crops condition

Analysis of the possibilities for using computer vision and spectral analysis to assess the wheat crops condition is presented in the paper. The paper presents the main stages of wheat cultivation, disease and conditions of wheat crops. The characteristics which describes the condition of wheat crops are measured using different technologies (spectral analysis, visible or hyperspectral images). The main stages in wheat crop assessment are described in the paper. Commonly used technologies - computer vision and spectral analyze for wheat crop assessment are analyzed. The research show that combination of spectral data, multispectral, thermal and RGB images is a powerful tool for acquiring features for predicting and classification of wheat crops.
