Abstract
Photodetectors A photodetector based on the type-II Weyl semimetal TaIrTe4 is designed by Dong Sun and co-workers in article number 2201229 to directly detect the orbital angular momentum (OAM) order of the vertex beam in the mid-infrared wavelength. The helical phase gradient of light can be distinguished by a current whose magnitude is proportional to the OAM mode number. This detector can be integrated into a focal plane array that can resolve multiple optical parameters of a target.
