Abstract
Background Gout attacks can affect joints, as well as tendons and ligaments. Ultrasound examination remains an important instrument to evaluate swollen joints in patients with a predisposition to gout. We present two cases of gout deposition which were detected by ultrasound imaging and treated with ultrasound guided injections with glucocorticosteroids.
