摘要

•A MSPE-based modified indirect method was developed to determine 3-MCPDEs and GEs.•The method was less susceptible to contamination compared to routine methods.•Evolution of 3-MCPDEs and GEs covering entire IF production chain were studied.•Homogenization contributed 79–91% of the total growth of 3-MCPDEs and GEs.
