Self‐Powered Lithium Niobate Thin‐Film Photodetectors (Small 35/2022)

LNOI-Based Photodetectors In article number 2203532, Yuechen Jia, Feng Chen, and co-workers propose a subtle framework to realize self-powered lithium niobite photodetectors by encapsulating both Ag nanoparticles and ions into LNOI thin film. The Ag ion implantation not only leads to the encapsulated Ag nanoparticles in the LNOI to enhance the photoelectric response of photovoltaic material, but also introduces abundant Ag ions and defects to increase conductivity and photoexcited carrier concentration.
