Circulating Dengue Serotypes and their Correlation with Severity of Disease at a Tertiary Care Hospital in Jaipur, Rajasthan

This retrospective study was conducted in the Department of General Medicine of Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur.A total of 100 patients (in-patient) admitted to the department with dengue fever were selected for the study from the period of January 2019 to June 2020. aiMs a n d objectives• To study the frequency of the four dengue serotypes.• To correlate the infecting serotype with the disease severity, duration of hospital stay, and platelet transfusion requirement.
