摘要
In this paper, the tribological behavior of surface texturing under water lubrication with particles of different sizes was analyzed through pin-on-disk tests. Results show that regardless of whether the particle size is greater than the texture depth, textured samples can effectively reduce the friction coefficient compared with untextured ones. Friction coefficient can be reduced up to 30 %. As the particle size increases, the efficiency of surface texturing in reducing friction decreases. When the particle size is smaller than the texture depth, surface texturing can store particles and thus reduce abrasive wear. On the contrary, when the particle size is larger than the texture depth, some particles will be embedded in the textures, resulting in impact wear. This study provides a reference for the design of the texture parameters in granular water.
