Abstract
This paper presents a novel location matching scheme under severe multipath environments. The target scenario is battery boards with multiple battery modules. The proposed scheme utilizes the polarization to generate RSSI distributions. Measurement based evaluation was conducted for two battery boards. The estimation results show that the accuracy is 57% and 76% for battery boards 1 and 2, respectively, which is higher than the target for comparison. In addition, the proposed method is able to detect suspicious estimation locations.
