Online Social Networks and Psychological Experiences: Analysis of Youth Perceptions Through Data Mining

Various research articles referring to social networks agree that excessive use of these can lead to psychological problems in users, whether they are emotional problems, identity problems, or self-acceptance problems, among others, being the addiction of young adolescents toward social networks, the most common problem when talking about their prolonged use. The analysis that is intended to be carried out with this research will be carried out through information on the population of the city of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico with young people between the ages of 12 and 25. This research will begin by revealing general aspects of social networks, mentioning their advantages as a personal, work, or school tool, and then analyze the negative impact that social networks have on young people with a data mining analysis.
