摘要
•Metallic glass/graphene multilayer with a laminated structure has been fabricated.•The mechanical and wear performance of metallic glasses were greatly improved by introducing graphene.•The deformation mode transforms from a chaotic state in the monolithic metallic glass film to a self-organized critical state in the multilayer under tribological loading.•The introduction of graphene facilitates reducing both the adhesion and ploughing friction, which improves the tribological properties.
