Abstract
•A ca. 810 Ma magmatism in the Tarim Craton;•The middle-Neoproterozoic magmatic activities were formed in a continental rift setting;•Kawuliuke complex was most likely triggered by the proposed mid-Neoproterozoic mantle plume;•Kawuliuke apatite-rich oxide ores were the product of normal fractional crystallization/cumulation;•The middle-Neoproterozoic magmatic activities were probably related to the break-up of the Rodinia supercontinent.
