Abstract
•Reactivity of a new hypergolic hybrid solid fuel (HSF) was demonstrated with industrial grade hydrogen peroxide (IGHP) oxidizer.•HSF exhibited ignition delay time less than 10 ms with 70 wt% IGHP.•Fabrication method plays a significant role to improve the strength and combustion characteristics of HSF.•Effect of concentration of additive and reductants in HSF was investigated.
