Impact of climate change on groundwater recharge in the lake Manyara catchment, Tanzania

•The study is about the impact of climate change on groundwater recharge, and identification of recharge zones in Lake Manyara catchment using Wetspass model.•The mean annual recharge would increase by 7.9% during 2021–2050.•Groundwater recharge at Lake Manyara catchment is sensitive to climate change.•This study is very potential to the water resource management of the area because the area is the source of income for both people and country.•Also the area has very limited information on hydro- meteorological parameters hence difficult to plan on the mater management issues over the area.
