摘要
•Risky behaviors are considered as key contributors to both bike and e-scooter crashes.•Proxied behavioral data might help to holistically assess riders’ road behaviors.•This study analyzed questionnaire data from 950 non-rider proxies and 23 interviews.•Qualitative configurations show markedly negative perceptions towards both types of riders.•However, e-scooter riders where overall perceived as significantly ‘worse’ riders than cyclists.
