Abstract
•Pure Multiwalled Carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) was used to make phenol–formaldehyde (PF) composite materials.•MWCNT reinforcement improved the electrical (alternating current-AC & direct current-DC) properties, dynamic mechanical analysis of the PF nanocomposites.•MWCNT addition shows reduced water sorption behaviour.•MWCNT dispersion was shown to be improved using transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
