Error analysis and calibration of micro-vibration test platform developed for advanced pointing instrument

•System noise and random noise of micro vibration test platform developed for Advanced Pointing Instrument are studied in-depth.•The function between CCD electronic noise and image shift error is deduced innovatively.•A more accurate modeling method for the noise brought up by the suspension system is proposed.•The noise influence level of micro vibration test system is proved on the order of milli-pixel.
