Abstract
•Metamorphic ages range from ∼ 882 to ∼ 767 Ma in the Yuanmou area.•Metamorphic peak P-T conditions of 7.2–13.6 kbar / 589–654 ℃ were determined.•The Yuanmou area records subduction to collision events of the Neoproterozoic Kang-Dian Orogenic Belt.
