Abstract
•Cr doped SrTiO3 is synthesized and employed as photocatalyst and photoanode.•Highest photocatalytic efficiency of 88% is achieved for Methylene Blue (MB) dye.•86% of photocatalytic efficiency is obtained after three cycle of reuse.•Highest Power Conversion Efficiency of 3.71% is achieved for the optimized one.•Cr doped SrTiO3 enhances the efficiency by ∼4 times than pristine SrTiO3.
