High temperature flash pyrolysis characteristics of waste plastics (SRF) in a bubbling fluidized bed: Effect of temperature and pelletizing

•SRF high temperature flash pyrolysis in BFB favors gas yield with high LHV.•C1-C3 gases reach 0.391 g/gfuel and H2 reaches 22.42 vol% at 900 °C.•Tar olefins and paraffins are cracked at 800–900 °C yielding more C1-C3 hydrocarbons.•Tar at 800–900 °C mostly consists of aromatics originating from PET, PS, and biomass.•At 600 °C tar is the major product with paraffins and olefins as main constituents.
