Abstract
Polyoxovanadate was employed as precursor to design VC/C nanocomposite. The final product of Ir/VC/C nanocomposite was prepared after loading Ir nanoparticles from colloidal solution and such electrocatalyst delivered excellent performance for hydrogen evolution reaction in alkaline and acid conditions by promoting the H−OH bond cleavage.
