Abstract
1941-nm repetitively-pulsed fiber-laser-pumped Tm

+:Yaplaser was used as the pump source for an optical parametric oscillator (OPO) and a second harmonic generator (SHG). The same periodically poled MgO:LiNbO3 crystal with a fan-out grating was used as the nonlinear element of the OPO and SHG. The conversion efficiency of the degenerate OPO at 3820–3970 nm exceeded 43% at the 0.5 kHz repetition rate, while the conversion efficiency of SHG at 970.5 nm reached 34%.
