Abstract
It is known that most of metastructures cannot dynamically tune the optoelectric properties once their structures are fabricated. Naturally, developing active materials and dynamically tunable devices becomes especially desired and necessary. In this work, we have made several active metasurfaces and dynamically-tunable metadevices based on phase change material VO2, which includes: i) the active nanoantennas from thermal to electrical tuning; ii) the electrically-driven tunable broadband waveplates, and iii) the electrically-tuned flexible active absorbers. The investigations here can be applied in constructing unique dynamically-tuning metamaterials, and are expected to promote the further development of new-generation active optoelectronic devices.
