Carbon materials are attractive electrode materials because of their relatively low cost, high surface area, and availability (Tiwari et al., 2021).Since the discovery of activated carbon (AC), there has been great interest in its synthesis because of its remarkable adsorptive, environmental, thermal, electrical, and mechanical characteristics.Carbon can be obtained from various sour-ces and may have varied surface areas, porosities, and other properties.Therefore, the incorporation of carbonbased materials as particulate fillers in composites should be further researched and developed.Agricultural-based biomass is an appropriate and inexpensive precursor to produce AC.AC is a predominantly amorphous solid with a large internal surface area and pore volume.Numerous attempts have been made to produce AC (with well-developed pore structures and
