Abstract
This work presents the use of a fleet of electric vehicles being used to provide support during the occurrence of faults, when the microgrid operates in islanded mode. The results indicate that the supply of power by EVs (an operation strategy using the V2G concept), mainly during fault events such as short circuits, can help to maintain the frequency within operational limits and avoid the disconnection of sensitive loads, inverters and other equipment or DERs internal to the microgrid.
