摘要

•LiDAR fusion enhanced the estimated percentage of accuracy for all tree metrics.•LiDAR fusion significantly reshaped the modeled crown structures in oaks and spruces.•Results showed that LiDAR fusion could provide accurate information on crown metrics, especially those that cannot be obtained directly in the field, such as crown surface and crown volume.
