Abstract
•The immunogen was from 13 diversely immunoreactive fish species across 7 fish orders.•The most sensitive ELISA demonstrated the limit of detections at 0.8 μg/kg.•Broad specificity profile included species with previously low immunoreactivity.•The recoveries by the ELISA were 84.8 – 122.1% (within the AOAC recommended range).
