Abstract
Microglia are the brain's resident macrophages. Changes in microglial state are highly implicated in the pathogenesis of many brain diseases, but the molecular mechanisms responsible are poorly understood. Further, there are many barriers to specifically targeting microglia for therapeutic purposes.
