Functional and White Matter Marker Predictors of Risk for Future Affective Disorders Across Infants and Young Adults
Biological Psychiatry(2022)
Abstract
Affective disorders are characterized by abnormalities in prefrontal cortical-centered neural networks supporting emotional regulation (ER). We aimed to identify robust, objective markers of future affective psychopathology risk, by determining relationships among neural network functioning and structure and behavioral indices of such risk across infancy and young adulthood.
