Abstract
•A novel SM/TMC membrane was prepared by IP for dye/salt mixtures separation.•The membrane possessed hydrophilic, smooth, and adjustable charged surface.•The influence of the SM concentration on membrane performance was studied.•The optimized membrane had high dyes rejection and low salts rejection.•The membrane exhibited excellent anti-adhesion and antibacterial properties.
