摘要

•A series of Ni–Fe LDH on NF(NiFe/NF) were fabricated by a one-step corrosion method.•The valence state of Fe greatly affects the structure and OER activity of NiFe/NF.•NiFe/NF catalysts prepared using ferric salts have much better OER performance.
